To be honest, we haven’t given Pinterest the amount of attention that it rightfully deserves. Like many, we initially branded it as a female centric crafting site; we were wrong. For a while now, Pinterest has proven its worth in the social media community and many large business have taken notice. Initially we didn’t take the time to understand the site and all that it could offer our clients.
Sometimes even savvy marketers can ignore some new social media efforts fearing they might be nothing more than fads. Luckily, we can admit when we are wrong. For a while now, we have seen the growing impact of Pinterest and the benefits of its use.
Pinterest has recently upgraded its platform to include more user-friendly tools such as “guided search”, and overall better search tools. For businesses, Pinterest has also created a Promoted Pins tool allowing them to reach a larger audience. Along with Promoted Pins businesses have access to better analytics.
Pinterest as it stands is one of the richest startup sites in the entire world. The company has received plenty of investments as it continues to grow and flourish. The bottom line, Pinterest isn’t just a bulletin board or scrapbooking site, it’s a way for consumers to discover and learn about products and even services. We are excited to be holding a Pinterest seminar today. Interested in learning more about using Pinterest for your business? We’d be happy to help.
